How Low Pressure Ear Irrigation works and safety measures

Ear Irrigation

Ear Irrigation, or sometimes called low pressure irrigation, is a more controlled process than syringing, normally carried out by a trained clinician who can exert control over the water pressure depending on the amount of ear wax and the sensitivity of the patient.

However, the process still uses water, which isn’t the best solution, due to the possibility that it can remain in the ear and cause an infection.

This approach also requires olive oil to be used in the ears for a week beforehand for optimal results.
