knowledge assessment to demonstrate your understanding before
progressing to practical training.

No. Previous ear wax removal experience is not required. You begin with
the online learning and case studies, complete the knowledge assessment
and then progress to supervised practical training.
Do I need to be a healthcare professional?
No. The course is open to healthcare professionals and learners from
other backgrounds. However, completing a training course does not by
itself determine whether someone can provide ear care services
professionally. You remain responsible for working within your

irrigation. You’ll practise with a clinical ear training mannequin
and receive supervised guidance and feedback.
What equipment is included?
The package includes the professional microsuction unit, irrigation
equipment, iPhone, wireless ear endoscope, relevant endoscope adapters,
Zoellner microsuction tubes, ear care hand instruments, batteries and
chargers, and a protective carry case. The supplied equipment also
comes with a one-year warranty.
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes. A Clinical Ear Care course certificate is issued following
successful completion of the required course components and assessments.
What happens if I don’t pass an assessment?
If you do not successfully complete the required assessment on your
first attempt, one reattempt is included at no additional charge.
Further reattempts are charged at £500.
Is the course CPD accredited?
We have applied for external CPD accreditation for the Clinical Ear
Care course and are currently awaiting the outcome. Until approval is
confirmed, the course is not advertised as CPD accredited.
Can I obtain insurance after completing the course?
Insurance requirements depend on your individual circumstances,
background and intended scope of practice. You should confirm
eligibility and cover directly with your chosen insurer before
providing services professionally.
